I’ve got two short stories drafted for you, dear readers, but neither felt right to share. “Shivering Jennie” is as dark as it comes, whilst “Mermaid Safari” require water in all its forms. The UK is wading through 40 Days Of Rain right now, to the point where there are ark sightings in Aberdeenshire. I can’t face it in my editing, as well.

I’ve learned the hard way to let my tales brew before sending them to you, so whilst they are infusing, here’s one I wrote in 2024. I love the characters, and I hope you do too.
