If you are here, you are one of us. I write and recommend weekly fantasy fiction with a Cornish twist. Real life here is often crazier than anything we can imagine, and I enjoy weaving local myths and history into my tales for you.
What can you expect?
My Wednesday newsletter. You get updates, recommendations, author interviews, random monster facts and micro-fiction. It’s a little slice of West Country life to be enjoyed with coffee.
My weekend fantasy story —something quick enough for me to edit to a decent standard and long enough for you to read while queuing for the changing rooms or at the shops. At the moment, I am writing a short story collection known as You Want It Darker. Each story can be read independently, but the same characters appear throughout the series.
All stories are free to read for up to 10 days after publication. Interviews remain free forever.
What should you read first?
For a quick fiction shot try To follow a Bucca (commended in Season Nine of The Lunar Awards). I’ve kept this one free to read, for you.
If you want an epic fantasy tale, try Tale of 2 Cities (paywalled)
